Based in Milford, New Jersey, Delaware River Tubing provides aquatic adventures on tubes, rafts, canoes and kayaks.

“Groups will experience a beautiful scenic float down the historic best stretch of the river,” said Greg Crance, CEO. “They love the all-inclusive adventure, including a free barbecue lunch at the midway point at our very own private island with picnic tables in the water.”

A large, easily accessible parking lot offers free parking and can accommodate multiple motorcoaches.

The check-in process for groups is fast and easy.

“We cater to many groups, camps, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, special dietary needs and kosher Jewish groups,” Crance said. “We respect their wishes and can provide only female staff or only male staff, depending on their group. We also deal with charter buses and school buses or large vans.”

Many operators and group leaders appreciate Delaware River Tubing including a lunch, as it eliminates their need to deal with a meal.

“We are incredibly affordable and very inexpensive,” Crance said. “Some groups with dietary concerns want to pass on the lunch, so we do discount since they don’t want the meal even though it’s technically free. We try and accommodate everyone.”

The company invented a custom “stay-together strap,” which keep the kids safely connected together while on the river.

Trips vary based on the group’s schedule and can last from one to five hours.

One- and two-hour trips do not include lunch because they don’t pass the company’s island. The three- to four-hour trips are the most popular.

“We will bring a group’s private food to our island if they don’t want our meal or want to bring their own kosher or diet food so the kids can still enjoy the island stop,” he said. “Their food will be waiting there when they float in.”

Crance said the company is always rated in the top five summer activities for all groups.

“We have won the New Jersey governor’s tourism award three times,” he said. “And we have been rated a top five outside adventure experience in the state by the New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism.”
