Groups of all kinds enjoy the immersive, multi-part experience at Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens in Washington, D.C.
Lynn Rossotti, director of marketing, communications and visitor services, noted groups are able to tailor a visit according to their preferences.
Groups may elect to incorporate a tour of the exquisite mansion, filled with Marjorie Merriweather Post’s incredible collection of French 18th-century and Russian imperial art, plus the elegant artifacts of her own life, including her elegant attire and dazzling jewels.
Guided tours are available by reservation for groups of 10 or more, or groups may also see the mansion at their own pace.

Seasonal tours of Hillwood’s 13 acres of formal gardens take place in spring and fall.
Groups of 10 or more may reserve space on the regularly scheduled daily tours, or the group may arrange for its own private tours.

Groups can arrange for special custom tours or even hands-on floral workshops, when arranged in advance and as available.
There is free parking for motorcoaches.
“Of course, all visits are made complete with lunch in the delightful Merriweather Cafe,” Rossotti said. “Groups of 10 or more can make special arrangements for group dining when arranged in advance. The dining options are terrific and adds a special touch to the group visit.”
