Rated as one of the best mountain bike trails in America, Lincoln Parish Park is a treasure for both bikers and non-cyclists alike. The park provides a paved pathway that winds around the lake and sandy beach and additionally houses a waterfall feature and viewing platform. Fishing, kayaking, canoeing and hammocking are welcomed.

Ruston is known for its sweet peaches and Mitcham Farms Peach Orchard in the place to go learn the peach growing process.
