In an announcement made official at its annual Education Summit, the Minnesota Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus has rebranded as the Minnesota Tourism Association (MNTA). The new name and brand reflect “a bold step forward in uniting and elevating Minnesota’s tourism industry under a more inclusive and forward-looking identity,” says the organization in a press release. In addition to the new name, the new MNTA brand includes a new messaging platform and visual identity and logo.

“This rebrand signals an exciting new chapter,” says MNTA Board Chair Beth Fischer, in the press release. “Our new name better reflects the diversity and scope of tourism across Minnesota and positions us to more effectively advocate for and support our members and the communities they serve.”

The MNTA represents DMOs and tourism professionals across the state of Minnesota and is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. It represents more than 70 DMOs serving a wide variety of constituencies. For more, visit tourismmn.com.
