COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. — On July 15, Visit Colorado Springs — the official marketing organization for the Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak region — launched its 2020 Crafts & Drafts Passport. This program helps support the local community’s craft beverage scene.
The passport is easily accessed through a mobile device in which users will get a number of discounts and deals at over 20 locally-owned venues. Customers will have options to try beer, wine, coffee, moonshine, whiskey and cocktails.
Additionally, the Crafts & Drafts program will significantly help the many local businesses that have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This place is rooted in the local culture and community, it’s the fabric of our city,” said Amanda Bristol, co-owner of Bristol Brewing Company, located in Colorado Springs. “When you visit and support these local businesses, not only do you support your neighbors, but somehow you feel more at home.”
The passport program runs through December 31, 2020. While some participating breweries and distilleries are closed for in-person visits, customers still have the opportunity to receive to-go beverages from those establishments.
