Hancock Shaker Village is one of the most authentic living history museums in America. The village preserves 750-acres of land, has 20 historic buildings, a café and a retail shop that sells Shaker-inspired items. While visiting the village, group members can have a conversation with the knowledgeable interpreters throughout the village and ask questions.

“Hancock Shaker Village brings the Shaker story to life,” Cellana said. “Through this story, we promote appreciation of the aesthetics, beliefs, achievement and controversies that have defined the Shaker experience in America. The values that the Shakers embraced — equality, pacifism, community, responsible land stewardship, innovation, sustainability, simplicity and quality work — resonate today. Visit and step back in time, forward in thought.”

Groups can experience the village via a walking tour that lasts two hours. Special group visits include Shaker Supper & Song and the Historic Shaker Garden Tour.

The Seeds Market Café serves Shaker-inspired and locally-sourced foods. A private dining experience is an option for groups with advance notice.

Free motorcoach parking is available.
