The 158-acre Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park features Michigan’s largest tropical conservatory; a carnivorous plant house; a Victorian, arid and seasonal display garden; outdoor gardens; including The Richard & Helen DeVos Japanese Garden, Lena Meijer Children’s Garden, Michigan’s Farm Garden and nature trails. The internationally acclaimed Sculpture Park features works by Oldenburg, Moore, Serra, Bourgeois and Plensa, among others. Indoor galleries host changing sculpture exhibitions with recent exhibitions by Picasso, Degas, di Suvero, Borofsky, Calder and Dine. Annual exhibitions include Chrysanthemums and More! from mid-September through October, Christmas and Holiday Traditions Around the World from late November through December, and Fred & Dorothy Fichter Butterflies Are Blooming the largest temporary butterfly exhibition each March and April. Outdoor narrated tram tours, gift shop and café are available. Meijer Gardens is barrier free.
