Fall colors are in their full splendor in Thurmont where visitors can view three covered bridges along our Covered Bridges Driving Tour (bridges are accessible via motorcoach with special directions) and stop at Catoctin Mountain Orchard for some fresh-baked pie. The National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton tells the story of the first American-born saint. The magnificent basiclia adornded with imported Italian marble and stained glass imported from Germany is the final resting place of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
