When Father Edward J. Flanagan purchased the Overlook Farm west of Omaha in 1921, it became what today is the site of Boys Town. Over the decades that followed, schools, churches and homes were built on the property and Omaha grew around the famous home where tens of thousands of young lives were transformed.
