Colorado’s mining history comes to life at the “Museum that Works” featuring over 4,000 artifacts and machines in the 12,200 square foot exhibit hall. Understand the importance of the Pikes Peak or Bust Gold Rush that created this amazing town. Guided tours are included in your admission and depart at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. daily. The Museum is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to the collection, preservation, and educational interpretation of America’s western mining heritage.
