In Bentonville, Arkansas, groups can examine and explore American masterworks spanning five centuries at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.

The museum takes its name from a nearby natural spring and the bridge construction incorporated in the building, designed by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie. The walking trails link the museum right to downtown Bentonville.
Asher B. Durand’s Kindred Spirits, Norman Rockwell’s Rosie the Riveter and Andy Warhol’s Coca-Cola [3] are included in the museum’s collection, each reflecting a unique moment in American art history.
Visitors can view major works by contemporary American artists including James Turrell, Georgia O’Keeffe and John Baldessari. The permanent collection is enhanced by a variety of temporary exhibits.
Guided tours at the museum are popular, and there are seven different options, including the Architecture Tour, Art Trail Tour, Women in Art Tour and Frank Lloyd Wright House Tour.
“The busiest time for group tours is spring and autumn,” Fontaine said. “Our grounds welcome spring with thousands of blooming dogwood and redbud trees, while autumn leaves transform our Ozark forest into a symphony of colors.”

Groups can reserve a visit up to eight months in advance.
“Visiting our permanent art collection is always free for groups and always available, so there’s never a need to turn away any group who wants to visit,” Fontaine said.
