Emma Quinn, tourism and events services specialist for Visit Rochester in New York, has a passion for the industry that began at a golf course, where she first worked as an event planner. After a brief detour into accounting and finance as an office administrator in 2020, that fervor was reignited through Visit Rochester, the city’s official convention and visitors bureau.
Quinn took up the role as a visitor services and accounting specialist for Visit Rochester in 2021. Last year, she took on her current position with the company.
“Committed to elevating Rochester’s status as a top tourist destination, I seized the opportunity to transition into the role of tourism and events services specialist,” Quinn shares with Group Tour. “This position opened doors to the travel trade industry, enabling me to forge valuable connections with tour operators, develop compelling sales presentations, and amplify Rochester’s global tourism presence.”
Today, Quinn channels her enthusiasm for fostering connections and promoting her community into every facet of her job with Visit Rochester. And she’s excited to share all Rochester has to offer during your group’s next visit to The Empire State.
