The wine trail offers 11 destinations for fine dining and wine sampling. The ale trail also offers 11 local breweries, taprooms, and distilleries. The green chile trail is a unique way to experience the area by visiting local restaurants, shops, the visitor’s center, and the Chile Pepper Institute.

Extending in all directions, Las Cruces has 13 maintained, unique hiking and natural sightseeing locations for groups to enjoy. Hike the Doña Ana Mountains, Tortugas “A” Mountain, Baylor Canyon Pass, Dripping Springs Natural Area, or the Sierra Vista Trail. For beautiful views, picnic areas, and scenery, visit the Pistachio Peak Recreation Area, Aguirre Springs Recreation Area, Soledad Canyon Day Use Area, Prehistoric Trackways National Monument, or the Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park.
