Liberty Aviation Museum, Port Clinton, Ohio

Liberty Aviation Museum in Port Clinton showcases operational historical aircraft and vehicles, including Georgie’s Gal, a World War II B-25 Mitchell bomber, a U.S. Navy WWII TBM Avenger and a PT boat. Witness the restoration of a 1929 Ford Tri-Motor airplane and dine in the 1950s-era themed Tin Goose Diner. The museum is open year-round.


African Safari Wildlife Park, Port Clinton, Ohio

The Midwest’s only drive-thru safari, African Safari Wildlife Park in Port Clinton is home to bongo, giraffe and zebra. Get ready for a wild time feeding exotic animals from the motorcoach. Stop by the Walk-Thru Safari to learn about the animals during daily education programs. A step-on guide can be reserved (subject to availability).

Island Transportation’s Put-in-Bay Tour Train is the way to see the resort area of South Bass Island. The one-hour narrated, historical tram tour has stop-off privileges at various locations on the island. In addition to the tram tour, Island Transportation offers a number of different packages involving numerous attractions, transportation and lunch options for groups.
