PLAY

Three of Minneapolis’ sports stadiums are within 2 miles of each other: U.S. Bank Stadium, home to the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings; Target Center, home to the NBA and WNBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx, respectively; and Target Field, home to MLB’s Minnesota Twins. What’s more, groups have the opportunity not only to catch a game but also to delve deeper into the iconic venues and their teams. Target Field’s “Learning Through Baseball” program, for example, offers tours of the ballpark and class offerings that range from the science of baseball to an exploration of the game’s most influential figures. U.S. Bank Stadium offers educational tours for school groups and Target Center can take groups behind the scenes and on the basketball court.
