Several Stamford eateries were featured on Guy Fieri’s “Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives,” including Corbo’s Deli and Kouzina, a Greek-style taverna with a coastal vibe.

Cove Island Park is a recognized Audubon sanctuary where 50 species of butterflies and 309 species of birds call home. Visitors to the Stamford Museum & Nature Center can enjoy programs in the former home of 1920s fashion designer Henri Bendel. Inside, detailed lead glass windows, graceful archways, and the elegant Great Hall form the backdrop for the exhibition galleries while sculptures grace the dazzling grounds and fountains of the Italianate gardens. The museum’s “Nights Out” social programs for adults will continue well into the evening hours thanks to the new Planetarium and Astronomy Center set to open in the spring.
