EXPLORE

Nestled in the scenic Sawtooth Valley, Stanley offers stunning natural beauty surrounding a small yet thriving community. To get out in nature, book a hike with Sawtooth Mountain Guides. These expert outfitters can plan a trek to fit all ages and ability levels while still offering the views you desire. For groups seeking more adventure, climb aboard a Sawtooth Adventure Company boat for a white water rafting trip down the Salmon River. They can accommodate groups of nearly any size—once hosting 452 guests.

Stanley also offers places to simply relax and enjoy the scenery, like in the hot springs at Mountain Village Resort. These naturally hot waters are fed into man-made pools, providing a soothing soak all year round. Water ranges from 98 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit and each pool can accommodate up to 10 guests.

CELEBRATE

No matter what time of year you visit, you’ll find festivals and celebrations geared toward the season. In summer, downtown Stanley comes alive with Thursday Night Street Dances. Located on quaint Ace of Diamonds Street, your group can kick up their heels and enjoy live music and food from local vendors. In February comes Stanley Winterfest, a two-day celebration of all that’s great about Stanley in wintertime. Stanley is known as one of the coldest places in the continental U.S., so bundle up—but those that brave the cold can watch live music, raft down snowy hills, and see the festival’s signature event, the famous outhouse races.

SAVOR

Featuring outstanding views of Redfish Lake, Limbert’s Dining Room is a local favorite located inside of Redfish Lake Lodge. Limbert’s offers group dining space for up to 40 and serves up fresh, local cuisine from a chef-driven menu. The Stanley High Country Inn also caters to groups, whether it’s for lodging, dining, or both, and features a taste of rustic Idaho in a cozy setting. For some nightlife, be sure to check out the Kasino Club and its scenic patio for fun times amidst a mountain backdrop.
