Rated as one of the best mountain bike trails in America, Lincoln Parish Park is a treasure for both bikers and non-cyclists alike. The park provides a paved pathway that winds around the lake and sandy beach and additionally houses a waterfall feature and viewing platform. Fishing, kayaking, canoeing and hammocking are welcomed.

Located in downtown Ruston, Sundown Tavern offers live music from regional and national artists and a memorable atmosphere out on the patio. Ruston is known for its sweet peaches and Mitcham Farms Peach Orchard in the place to go learn the peach growing process.
