Groups find lots to do in Miami County, Ohio, while enjoying the ambience of historic downtowns.

Group members can sit back and enjoy a flight of whiskies at Indian Creek Distillery in Carlisle, Ohio, or walk the vineyard with a glass of wine in hand at Old Mason Winery in West Milton, Ohio.
Explore Miami County’s history, learn the stories of Fort Piqua Plaza in Piqua, Ohio, and Troy-Hayner Cultural Center in Troy, Ohio.
Twenty One Barrels Cidery & Winery opened in June in Bradford, Ohio. The winery is nestled out in the country on 20 acres of land where Danielle and Shaun Pierce have begun developing the winery and cidery. Stroll among the vines while enjoying a glass of wine or hard cider. Group tours can immerse themselves in a wine or cider flight of their choosing while unwinding in the tranquil surroundings. Additional information on group tours will be developed as the winery and cidery settles in after the initial opening.
Moeller Brew Barn, with its original location in Maria Stein, opened up a second location in downtown Troy in August 2019. Housed in a former church, the stained-glass windows and church pews contribute to the charm and overall atmosphere of the brewery. While touring the property, groups will learn the history of the building and the brewing process, as well as enjoy the different seasonal beers on tap.

For smaller, more adventurous groups of 20–25 people, camping on the river is now a possibility with Shoal Tents. Created and designed by Ethan Smith of SmithFly, these inflatable floating rafts with tent toppers allow campers to sleep right on the Great Miami River.
“Experience a whole new way of camping you can’t find anywhere else outside of Miami County,” Rodriguez said.
Rodriguez encouraged tour operators to reach out to her for help when planning group tours in Miami County.

Miami County is located right off Interstate 75, 20 minutes north of Dayton, Ohio. The easy and stress-free accessibility also makes Miami County a great stopover location, with plenty of restaurants and hotels.
