The Pima Air & Space Museum, one of the largest aviation and space museums in the world, features more than 400 historical aircrafts – from a Wright Flyer to a 787 Dreamliner. Sitting on 80 acres the museum opened its doors to the public in May of 1976. Over the past forty years, the museum has grown immensely and today encompasses six indoor exhibit hangars (three dedicated to WWII) along with additional outdoor exhibits.

Mission San Xavier del Bac, also known as “the White Dove of the Desert,” is one of the finest examples of Spanish Colonial architecture in the country. The mission was founded by Father Kino in 1692 and the structure you see today was completed in 1797, making it the oldest intact European structure in Arizona. The church’s interior is filled with marvelous original statuary and mural paintings.
