Learn

Bell Museum, Minnesota’s official natural history museum and planetarium, is located within minutes of Roseville on the University of Minnesota campus in St. Paul. Engage your senses in the Touch & See Lab with 10,000-year-old fossils. Check out a show at the planetarium, and, while here, be sure to see the star of the museum—a gigantic woolly mammoth. The realistic 11-foot, 500-pound replica is made up of fiberglass and fake fur and makes for a great photo opportunity.

Spend a day at Como Park Zoo & Conservatory. Located in St. Paul, Como Park is just minutes away from Roseville. Among the attractions here are the zoo and Marjorie McNeeley Conservatory, an amusement park and carousel, golf course, and outdoor pool. Como is one of the only zoos in the country that offers free admission (donations are encouraged but not required).
