Julie Wearn, CEO at Visit Roseville, loves her job. Over the past 13 years, Wearn has marketed the city of Roseville, Minnesota, on a local, regional, national and sometimes international basis.

Roseville is “Perfectly Positioned.” Closeness to all major attractions in the Twin Cities, variety of hotels in all price ranges, free on-site bus parking and a low lodging tax are just a few of the ways Roseville stands out as a group tour destination. Wearn is especially excited about Roseville in Bloom, an upcoming event taking place June 1–September 30, 2020.

Q. What will groups experience when attending Roseville in Bloom?

A. Roseville in Bloom is a free, public art event and a great way for us to say, “Welcome to Roseville!” The event will feature 20 artist-designed, 7-foot-tall roses that will “bloom” all around our great city.

Q. What special events will Roseville in Bloom offer visitors?

A. Many special events will be taking place in the area. Some include the May Paint Off event, a school supply drive for Kids in Need in July, a replica rose coloring contest for kids at the Roseville Library and weekly photo contests. Visit Roseville is also working with Because Collective to coordinate a “Trolley Tour Kick-Off” event allowing visitors to ride, stop and see all the rose sculptures. There will be a picnic in a park for everyone with “Rose” in their name, Bee Kind Flower Power Day, a rose-inspired fashion show at Rosedale Center, “Rose and Shine” early-morning yoga (or “Roga”) and a rose floral design competition.
