Head to the Kentucky Derby Museum—where every day is Derby Day. Student visits include a guided tour of Churchill Downs Racetrack; a showing of “The Greatest Race,” a 360-degree immersive sound and visual experience; two floors of interactive exhibits; and an age-appropriate education program. Horses take center stage in a curriculum that covers the arts and humanities, math, science, and social studies.

Journey into the heart of a champion at The Muhammad Ali Center by means of multimedia presentations, interactive exhibits, countless images, historical video, and artifacts. The experience incorporates the six core principles of Ali’s life: confidence, conviction, dedication, giving, respect, and spirituality.

From The Big Bat outside to witnessing the actual making of baseball bats, young people will be amazed at Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. Besides the factory tour, galleries are filled with memorabilia and interactive exhibits that present history and art from a sporty perspective. Each student receives a free miniature bat.

Watch the Louisville Bats, the Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, play baseball at Louisville Slugger Field. The season runs from April through September.
