Follow the Sculptured Oak Nature Trail at Myrtle Beach State Park to see one of the last stands of maritime forest on the northern coast of South Carolina. Biking, sea kayaking and fishing are also possible activities. Walk along the iconic causeway at Huntington Beach State Park to view the birds and alligators that live in the marsh. Take part in a Coastal Exploration Program with a naturalist to learn about the park’s wildlife.

The John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center in the heart of the city includes eight basketball courts and 16 volleyball courts. The center can host wrestling, gymnastics, table tennis and pickle ball.
