On Memorial Day Weekend, Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, will open the longest head-first racing zip line course in the nation and the Midwest’s first racing prone zip line course. Soar Like an Eagle will be located at the resort’s outdoor aerial park — Dells Zipline Adventures.

“Thrill seekers will be wowed by both the stunning course and flying superhero style through the natural dense forests along the river,” said Krissy Kaminski, vice president of Chula Vista Resort. “The Soar Like an Eagle course is the longest duo racing zip line course in the United States and the only prone race course sending racers into a forest — we’re so proud to have it here at Chula Vista Resort.”

The 10-story-high course stretches almost a half mile between three towers. Visitors will race down nearly 2,000 feet of parallel zip line, belly towards the ground and face first.

Soar Like an Eagle is one of 18 zip lines and four aerial rope courses in Dells Zipline Adventures. Student groups can experience the park’s newest addition, Soar Like an Eagle; the Canyon Pass Course including 12 zip lines and four aerial bridges; and the Berry’s Landing Course with five zip lines and four rope courses.

Dells Zipline Adventures is a great location to tie in thrilling adventure with student curriculums like physics, math, botany and much more.

In 2020, Dells Zipline Adventures was recognized in Conde Nast Traveler’s list of 20 best weekend getaway ideas in the U.S. and was awarded the Project of Distinction by the Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin.

Student groups receive discounts at the aerial park, as well as at Chula Vista’s indoor and outdoor waterpark.
